Welcome to this week’s newsletter, where I’ll share a bit about my journey, snapshots from my Kashmir trip, and three essential lessons you need to know right away.
Grab your cup of coffee or tea and let’s dive in….
I recently took a break from my businesses and went on a trip in the second week of July with the most incredible and loving women.
Would you believe it if I told you that never in my wildest dreams had I imagined that I would be able to do that when I started my business 5 years ago?
Why? Because your sis wasn’t born with a silver spoon in her mouth; she had to create it for herself.
I am not from a family that goes on vacations or allows their daughters to go out for jobs, let alone trips.
If you follow me on Instagram, you would know that…
I am from a small village in Lahore.
I received my early education from a small government school in my village and moved to the city for higher education.
I never wrote a full paragraph in English (except for the essays from the grammar book) until I was 17.
I was a couch potato who had no confidence in herself but was a die-hard fan of Urdu literature.
I had a dream of becoming financially independent one day, running a business, attending business meetings, and going out for trips… just like the heroines in the novels I used to read.
But it always seemed IMPOSSIBLE!!
The first-ever thing I did in my life that I was very proud of was arranging a meetup for my dearest friend Nemrah with her readers.
I was so anxious, didn’t want to do it, but Nemrah pushed me out of my comfort zone, and…
I DID IT!!!
That’s when my confidence in myself started to build up, and I started thinking about doing something valuable, and the first thing that came to my mind was…
giving tuition (obvious one, right?)
But a blessing in disguise, I did not find a single student whom I could teach and make my pocket money.
So after thinking about different available options, I started my blog (@coffeefueledtehreem) on Instagram, and then after a year of that, launched my first business.
That’s when my real struggles started…
With no mentor and zero guidance
I had to figure out everything by myself and….
It’s not easy to face one failure after the other and not give up when you have to learn all by yourself
I compromised on my physical and mental health
I lost a huge deal of money and ended up in debt
I was unable to spend time with family and friends
But I stayed my ground and kept moving forward with patience. A lot of patience.
For most people, taking a self-sponsored trip to Kashmir or anywhere in the world is not a big deal
But for someone like me….
THIS WAS A BIG DEAL.
Look at this. So beautiful..
This is me sitting by Neelum and enjoying tea…
I had so much to write…
I had to make 100s of sacrifices to create this life of financial independence for myself…
And after years of struggle, I DID IT.
And if I could do it, so can you.
No matter what your dream life is, you can create it for yourself.
And you don’t have to spend 5 years like me to reach there.
Because the internet is now full of information and…
You have me 🙂 I am here to provide you with the guidance and support you need.
Share with me the struggles you are facing right now, and I will try my best to help you find a way out of them.
Now the 3 lessons….
No matter where you are in your journey, here are the lessons that you need to learn to guarantee your success.
1-Work On Your Habits
I can’t stress this enough. Once you start working on your habits, you will start achieving success.
When I started waking up early, my work quality improved a lot and my business started to grow.
When I started managing my energy based on my learnings, I was able to do more work in less time.
Likewise, when I started following my weekly, daily schedule, I started to accomplish my goals.
You see that?
With healthy habits, there is no way your life does not change.
2-Don’t Avoid Hard Work
The rule is simple.
Work hard if you want to improve your life.
That’s it. Nothing more to say about it.
3-Don’t fall into the Trap of Social Media
Don’t set your standards based on what you see on social media.
No one tells you their secrets to success there. It’s all about entertainment, and you don’t have to spend all your day entertaining yourself.
Work on yourself in private.
Take inspiration from people on social media, but don’t spend your special time watching someone else’s stories.
Spend time on creating your story.
That’s all for this week.
I hope you found the letter valuable.

Bht bht jazakallah may Allah bless you Dear tehreem
Hi Tehreem.
I think if every woman in Pakistan gets this kind of motivation from her household and a little pat on her back from the head of the family, she would sprout and grow successfully
