If there’s anything or anyone to blame,
- Blame the gurus who make business look easy.
- Blame the entrepreneurs who only share their wins, never their struggles.
- Blame social media for glamorizing success and hiding the reality behind it.
The truth is, business takes real work.
It’s not just about posting products and running ads, only to hear crickets.
At first, you’ll have to work longer hours than a 9-5,
you will have to take risks, and handle everything on a tight budget.
But if you stay consistent for a year, you’ll earn more in a month than most jobs pay in a year.

I know this because:
- I started my first business in 2018 at 20. Over the past 6 years, I’ve built 4 businesses, 2 failed, but the other 2 made me the first millionaire in my close circle. Alhamdulillah
- I’ve coached 1,000+ women on building businesses from scratch and created a thriving community of businesswomen.
- I’ve seen people quit within months because business wasn’t as easy as they thought.

In 2018, when I started my first business, I thought it would be a fun side hustle for some extra cash.

Here’s my diary from that time. Look at my salary from business:

I fell into huge debt. It took me two years to pay it off.
